ROCK TO ROCK RUN is back and Running again in the Name of Rock for the 7th time!
Hard Rock Hotel Penang’s annual Rock to Rock Run was established to raise awareness as well as to raise funds to support a cause. The charitable run has benefited 6 non-profit organizations in the past and will continue to sustain its motto to “Take Time to Be Kind”.
This year, Hard Rock Hotel Penang pledges to raise RM50, 000 – RM70, 000 to construct a zinc roof for SK Batu Ferringhi’s assembly area.
Dress up and have fun running for a cause along the scenic coast located in Batu Ferringhi. The Rock to Rock Run is the first charity run designed for runners to dress up in their favourite costume attire. Join the run and you might just be running next to a Malaysian icon this year!
Sekolah Kebangsaan Batu Ferringhi situated at Jalan Batu Ferringhi, 11100 Penang was first established during the British rule in 1909. The school comprises of 206 Primary students, 23 teachers, 4 working staffs and 7 classrooms. Due to the limited space of land, the school does not have a field to conduct sports & recreation activities. The assembly area in the centre of the school is the only recreation area that is being utilized by the students. As such, the school sees the need to build a zinc roof at the assembly area for the student’s activities.
